PRESS RELEASE: Hardee County Commerce Park Concrete Pour Rivals Largest in Hardee County’s History

New foundations are springing up in the heartland of Florida.

Hardee County Commerce Park, delayed by the several hurricanes to pass through Hardee County, is an important project that is leading the way in the economic recovery of post-hurricane Hardee County.

The recently completed Commerce Park will soon become home to SCOSTA Corporation, a metal truss manufacturing company.  The construction ‘concrete pour’ is possibly the largest in Hardee County’s history according to Construction Manager, Lavon Cobb of Cobb Construction.  ‘One hundred and sixty concrete trucks from three Counties will be supplying the materials for this major project’.

This is only one among several companies moving into the 160-acre Commerce Park that is already thirty percent sold out and making plans for expansion.  With 3,500 new homes in the planning and construction stages, the construction industry has targeted Hardee County as a viable place to move or expand their company.

Hardee County is well underway with its revitalization program, according to members of its Industrial Development Authority.
