Currently there are 47 designated
Enterprise Zones located in the state of Florida, two of which are located
in Hardee County. These offers tax incentives to all types of businesses and
residential units located within the Enterprise Zone. Tax credits are
available to firms that pay either Florida Corporate Income Tax or the
Florida Sales and Use Tax and create new jobs.

Jobs tax credit used against either state corporate income taxes paid
or state sales and use taxes, based upon the number of new jobs created.
Sales tax refund for business machinery and equipment purchased - up
to 97% can be reimbursed for equipment used within the Zone.
Sales tax refund for building materials used to renovate real
property - up to 97% can be reimbursed.
Property tax credit - used against state corporate income taxes.
